  • Authenticate and maintain your session in Formalize.
  • Identify your account and display your name and avatar in the product.
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., security/recovery emails).
  • Improve security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

  • Performance of a contract — to provide and operate the service.
  • Legitimate interests — security, service improvement, and fraud prevention.
  • Consent — where applicable (e.g., Google OAuth).

6. Retention & Deletion

We retain data while your account is active and for the period necessary to meet legal/contractual obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing privacy@formalizzei.com.

You may request, at any time: confirmation and access; correction of incomplete/inaccurate/outdated data; anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary/excessive data; portability where applicable; information on sharing; and consent withdrawal where applicable. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, audit logs). However, no method is 100% secure.
